Batter-fried Chicken with Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit Sauce


  • Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit juice with pulp
  • Mayonnaise
  • 1 Chicken Hip or Chicken Breast
  • Crispy flour with seasoning powder and pepper
  • Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Your choices of favorite green salad

Batter-fried Chicken with Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit Sauce


  1. Mix chicken with flour, dip in eggs and breadcrumbs, and then fry with a medium heat until chicken turns golden brown.

  2. Easy steps for sauce – mix mayonnaise with Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit juice. Stir until it is deliciously mouthful to your taste. If some Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit is too sweet, you can add lemon juice.

  3. When a chicken cools down, slice the chicken into small pieces (depending on your liking). Serve with green salad and top with Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit’s sauce.
