Zespri® Green Kiwifruit Gula Melaka Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 Zespri® Green Kiwifruits, peeled and sliced
  • 80g Butter
  • 70g Gula Melaka
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • Pinch Cinnamon powder
  • Pinch Clove powder
  • Pinch Nutmeg powder
  • 1-2 tsp Limau Kesturi juice
  • Waffles / Pancakes / French Toast

Directions

  1. Heat a small frying pan and add butter. Add gula melaka and Zespri® Green Kiwifruit slices and saute for about 30 seconds.

  2. Add the orange juice to moisten and a pinch of each of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg powder.

  3. When the sauce thickens, squeeze juice of half a limau kesturi over mixture.

  4. Turn off heat and serve with pancakes, french toast or waffles.

  5. Allow to cool a little.

  6. Top it off with fresh slices of Zespri Green Kiwifruit.
